Abstract: This article presents the contributions made to the area of education by the women participating in the libertarian movement during their fight in the Spanish Civil War (1 936-1 939). We start from an unpublished in depth research: Recovering the voices of the women who fought for freedom. Catalonia, 1936-1939. This research recovers the voices of the women involved in the libertarian movement, and thus contributes to the knowledge about both the social and political impact of their initiatives and the enduring value of those initiatives in our current educational scene. Este artículo presenta las contribuciones en el ámbito educativo que las mujeres, que participaron en el movimiento libertario, realizaron durante su lucha en la Guerra Civil española (1 936-1 939). Partimos de una investigación en profundidad, inédita: Recuperando las voces de las mujeres luchadoras por la libertad. Catalunya, 1936-1939, que a través de la recuperación de la voz de las mujeres del movimiento libertario nos aporta tanto el conocimiento del impacto social y político de sus iniciativas como la vigencia de éstas en nuestro actual panorama educativo
