Abstract:This article focuses on the prison system, because, what is intended to convey to the reader is mainly the idea of prison rehabilitation, but approaching it from a more social level, but cited and referenced in one of the sub -sections, the Catalan prison legislation, as well as the working model used to carry out the rehabilitation of detainees. From this, an emphasis on explaining the meaning of rehabilitation is through different perspectives and authors, in order to get people to discover for themselves whether or not such change in inmates / ace Prisons, specifically in the prison of Tarragona, as it is where the research for this work is done. In addition, concepts such as resilience, coaching and motivation are related. Moreover, we also speak of systemic model, for the important role played by the family and social network for the rehabilitation process. To explain the rehabilitation process, referring to the different stages of the theory "Wheel of Change" of Prochaska and DiClemente. Throughout the text, the sense that he is giving to the subject in question, it becomes increasingly critical, this radicalism is because it impinges more on psychological matters, including issues of personality. At the same time, is in line with the social, cultural aspects pointing religions or international customs, which called into question the concept of rehabilitation. The methodology can be broken down into three types; first, basically used the technique of participant observation. As a technique second, three interviews Prison inmates Tarragona and finally have taken into account the explanatory theories of different authors, and the references added to the end of the text were made. In the last pages, are the conclusions of all the talk, as well as personal opinion on the topic, this, framed around the meaning of this article.
