Abstract:In recent years, Spain has seen an increase in the arrival of unaccompanied migrant children (MMNA); this group has received strong stigmatization by the far right, which has been spreading the same discourse in the last months, where they were closely related to criminal acts. This means, that a part of the population rejects and isolates them, as they consider them a danger. The first part of this article, explains the current situation of these minors across the country. Various journalistic articles on VOX discourses on MMNAs, have been studied below, to show that this stigma is real. Finally, the data provided by the national institute for statistics on juvenile delinquency were analyzed, and a professional was interviewed in order to see the real relationship between migrant minors and crime.
