Abstract:
This article try about an approach to the need of offer a support, both physical and emotional, to the non-professional caregiver, displaying the most common formal resources and the strategies of actuation directed to this collective. Further, in the searching of this approach, I'm trying for defining that we understand by the action of care and what is the role of the non-professional caregiver in the Law 39/2006, of 14 December, about Promotion of the Personal Autonomy and Attention to the persons in Dependence situation. And, finally, I will contrast the theorist section with the practical section of the article, carried out in Basic Social Services situated in Civic Centre of Sant Pere i Sant Pau, Tarragona.
