Abstract:
Introduction: one of the most important health problems worldwide in developed countries is overweight, which is directly related as a risk factor in certain serious pathologies, such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and HT. In recent decades, it has been observed that this health problem grows to worrying levels in the child and adolescent population. Objective: to promote healthy habits by creating a mobile application for the population of 13 to 16 years of age at the Joan Guinjoan i Gispert Institute in Riudoms, creating feedback with the school nurse. Methodology: to carry out this work, a descriptive methodology based on a bibliographic review of scientific and technological literature was used. A search of articles, web pages and clinical practice guides that were extracted from the following sources and databases: Pubmed, Elsevier, Dialnet and Scielo and Google Scholar was performed. Also a directed interview was made to the scholar nurse of the Joan Guinjoan I Gispert’s high school. Results: a mobile application was created based on the most appropriate characteristics to promote healthy habits among the adolescent population between the ages of 13 and 16, based on the recommendations offered by the bibliography and the interview conducted with the reference school nurse of the Joan Guinjoan I Gispert’s high school. Conclusion: according to the prominent bibliography, APP’s are a good tool to promote healthy habits in the adolescent population and promote adherence to healthy behaviours. This application is directed by the school nurse and presents different scenarios that respond to the needs and demands of the students, providing feedback with them and thus generating a relationship of trust with the school nurse.
