    Abstract:
    The main goal of this project is the implementation of a computer vision system for IDIADA’s department of ADAS. The system shall work as part of the instrumentation with the prototypes cars are equipped for its testing during the development process. The function of the system is the detection of the visual collision warning which is generated by the car in order to alert the driver of a possible collision. The first part of the project is an introduction to ADAS, two strategies are proposed for the implementation of the computer vision system. The second part of the project is the validation process for the two strategies and the final test in the proving ground. Study
