    Abstract:
    This TFG highlights the invisibility of female managers, focusing on the CEOs of Tarragona. It is divided into two blocks: a theoretical one, explaining metaphors such as the glass ceiling and cliff, and the barriers overcome, such as gender discrimination, in addition to success factors, such as education. The second block consists of a survey of female managers in the region to compare theory and practice. Finally, conclusions are drawn about the strengths and weaknesses of women managers and keys to business success are offered.
