Healthy habits and lifestyles in patients diagnosed with stroke

    Abstract:
    Stroke is a disease linked with one of the highest morbidity and mortality rates, as well as number of recurrences and dependences, therefore in this article we want to know healthy habits and lifestyle in patients with ictus, and the influence of them in rehabilitation and prevention of complications; also we want to know the influence of nursing role and the function of antithrombotics. The review was done through search in different data bases like CUIDEN, SCIELO, PUBMED, GOOGLE SCHOLAR, DIALNET and SCIENCE DIRECT. As a result, we included 18 articles, among themselves various studies, essays, protocols and bibliographical reviews; after the analysis of them we concluded that if people do secondary prevention, avoiding cardiovascular risk factors and changing their lifestyle, the recurrences and complications decrease. Also, it’s necessary, a proper use of antithrombotics and the nursing role in order to educate the patients.
