Abstract:
This article aims to convey the importance of working the emotional intelligence (EI) of adolescents to strengthen their competence and interpersonal skills, and foster, thus, the prevention of drug use. The article arises from research in Applied Social Research (2012-2013) course, based on quantitative and qualitative methodology and where some of the main results are amply developed. The work to be performed is on the inner level, that is to say, if you find the a balance between external and internal generates welfare for the teenager, he becomes aware, accept it, and then they can be transformed.
