Abstract:Abstract: Our society is undergoing a process of aging, which is accompanied by increased prevalence of certain diseases such as Alzheimer's. This project has tried to compare the level of support received by caregivers and the level offered from the perspective of health professionals. In order to obtain conclusions that allows us to see whether the health system is prepared to face this reality. To do this we have used the qualitative methodology, thought using semi-structured interviews. In total it was realized 7 interviews, 3 to caregivers of patients with Alzheimer’s disease and 4 to health professionals. The results show the hardness of the reality that the caregivers lives, also it allow us to reach conclusions followed. The most important perhaps it was, the fact that both groups perceive lacks in key points of the process.
