Abstract:	The present work arises from the attention to the educational improvement of La Mina school from the implementation and dynamism of the school library as a privileged learning space. With it, the purpose is to reveal the importance of the resource, incorporating into the center significant corners that reinforce the development of reading habits, as well as contact regarding access and treatment of information. To do this, strategies and activities are established, in accordance with the objectives of the school's Reading Plan, and the use of the library is promoted as a method of support and accompaniment in the curricular activity.
