Abstract:This project examines the transfer of phraseological units from J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows to Gemma Rovira's Spanish translation, Harry Potter y las reliquias de la muerte. The study involves extracting instances of phraseological units from the source text and comparing them to their corresponding translations. The translator's techniques for rendering these units into Spanish are analyzed and classified. The target text is also examined to identify additional phraseology. The project concludes by presenting the most frequently used translation techniques, Gemma Rovira's translation patterns, and the overall strategy employed in her work.
