Abstract:
This work is born from the desire to achieve the cohesion of the territory of Baix Gaià through the creation of a music school for the territory. To do this, he uses the railway as a connecting thread that connects the towns of the region with Reus, placing the village of Montornès as the center of the commonwealth and establishment of the proposal: a music school. Thus, it starts from the study of the Industrial Revolution and the arrival of the train as an element that brings economic prosperity to the population and draws a parallel with the new proposal to rescue the old railway
