Abstract:The objective of the master of Advanced Studies in Catalan Language, Literature and Culture is to train specialists in several areas always related to catalan language: language teaching, assessment and correction, language planning, multilingualism management, publishing, literary criticism and cultural heritage management. The master teach us that language is something interdisciplinary. In my opinion is important to see how extent is the language, get an idea of the complexity of the system, what makes everything possible, each of the parts that makes it up and all those people who promote and takes care of the language. The master taught us that and, after I studied various options to make the practicing, the Consorci per a la Normalització Lingüística seemed the best option because there I could practice the theory that I learned. It is a public institution that collects all these ways of action and all the fields that are interesting for me. They were able to train me a better understanding and scope of work in catalan language. After having the best preparation in the university, they could give me all that I need, they could show me what the battlefield was and learn in more than one position. 3
