Abstract:In Spain was proclaimed a dictatorship almost fourty years, where the women's role was practically null, there was a patriarchal society, where the women were excluded of the public life. The Franco regime was repressive and caused a big inequality and discrimination for women in the policy, education, and labor areas. With the configuration of the new state was a gender policy, where the catholicism had an important role. Was formed the Falange's Feminist Section, who was the responsible about the transmission of moral and political values of the regime. This group affiliates charge of social education, politcal education and domestic education of the all the women during the regime. The legal status of women was enaqual than men. At the beginning of Franco regime was imposed a series of measures to eliminate all equality legislation that existed in the Republic, where the woman was totally excluded to exercise their rights. It was not until the sixties that some changes were made . It was then when the Feminism began in Spain because began to experience different social changes to produced an accelerated contrasted directly to the regime's ideology development.
