Abstract:The sexual identity is a process by which all went through. A gradual building marked by time and space. This article presents an analysis of the dimension of sexuality and the difficulties that may arise from a few patterns that are formed on the basis of paternalistic social archetypes. In an educational context, and with a social perspective, explains the dichotomy between sex and gender, its difference and diversity is used as a vehicle for the confrontation of the established so far. It also explores the positioning of education professionals and the experiences of different testimonies to propel us on real cases and be partakers of their stories and singularities, with the intention of better understanding the reality that surrounds us.
