Abstract:
We focus on understanding the connection between dietary patterns, diabetes risk factors, and endometrial cancer. Factors like overweight, obesity, and diabetes are linked to endometrial cancer risk. The research uses statistical analysis to examine how unhealthy dietary patterns, associated with insulin resistance and hyperinsulinemia, might impact endometrial cancer risk. The findings suggest that women, particularly those with higher body weight, who follow diets promoting insulin resistance and hyperinsulinemia may have a slightly increased risk of endometrial cancer. We recommend that dietary adjustments aimed at reducing glycemia and insulinemia might potentially lower the risk of developing endometrial cancer.
