Abstract:
Antibiotic’s resistance is a real threat. We fight it every single day and it seems that, by now, it is winning us the game. The aim of my assignment is to check if the bacteria found in daily injuries have developed any resistance, if among Tarragona’s population there is an ignorance about this problem and if there is a bad use of antibiotics where the age influences so that teenagers make a worse use of them. Then, throughout research about bacteria, antibiotics and the possible solutions to this problem together with the development of susceptibility antimicrobial tests and a survey, I have reached a series of conclusions. Firstly, bacteria in daily injuries have developed resistances. And secondly, there is a lot of ignorance about this problema and a huge bad use of antibiotics, a fact in which age has influence but it is actually adults who perform the worst use of them.
