    Abstract:
This article presents the contributions made to the area of education by the women participating in the libertarian movement during their fight in the Spanish Civil War (1 936-1 939). We start from an unpublished in depth research: Recovering the voices of the women who fought for freedom. Catalonia, 1936-1939. This research recovers the voices of the women involved in the libertarian movement, and thus contributes to the knowledge about both the social and political impact of their initiatives and the enduring value of those initiatives in our current educational scene.
