    Abstract:
© 2017 CSIC. In Val d'Aran there is a group of Romanesque churches built between the 11th and the first third of the 13th century, of what has been called the first Aranese Romanesque. These churches have been systematically studied through mass data capture with a Terrestrial Laser Scanner (TLS) in five times (2014-2015). The data obtained have allowed us to make a transversal analysis of these churches in order to analyse the topology of them and their relations and assonances from the approach to the Romanesque liturgies, especially from the Gemma animae of Honorius of Autun and the Mitralis de Officio of Sicard, Cremona's bishop. For this purpose, the relationship to the sacred space, the Sancta, in place of the people, and the so-called Sancta Sanctorum, where the priest officiates, is studied, as well as the relation of areas, volumes and orientations of these churches.
