    Abstract:
Objective. This article is the result of an investigation that aimed to: investigate the feasibility of the legalization of cocaine in Colombia. Method. For this, a qualitative methodology based on a documentary type review was used. Results and conclusion. As a main finding, it was found that to discuss possible legalization, it is necessary to include coca in its natural state, cocaine in its processed state and consumers and growers. Finally, it is concluded that from a socio-cultural and legal point of view it is feasible to speak of a legalization regarding its cultivation, commercialization and consumption, but from the biochemical point of view it is more complex to talk about the legalization of its consumption as processed product, then, this would be subject to different variables: route of administration, dose, among other aspects; what would not happen if it will be done naturally: as a coca leaf.
