    Abstract:
    In this communication we present an experience of university - high school collaboration in the subjects Bachelor’s Thesis and Research Work. The aim was empowering the two institutions to expand their teaching offer and improve the transition between high school and college. The project involved the construction of a low - cost colorimeter and its application for the determination of aluminum and iron in commercial samples.
