    Abstract:
As a result of a collaboration agreement between Tarragona Provincial Council and the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), students in the third year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education at the URV’s Terres de l’Ebre campus prepare training sessions in to help develop the young people at the Provincial Council’s Sant Jordi-Jesús School in Tortosa. This initiative enables the young people at the Sant Jordi Special Education School to learn values such as solidarity, effort and team work and allows future teachers to gain greater experience of diversity through a sport that is still not widely played in schools in Catalonia.
