    Abstract:
The design of the mobile application SOS TEA, arises from the need detected by an association of relatives of people with ASD to be able to intervene in emergency situations. The product is designed collaboratively between the Department of Computer Engineering and Pedagogy of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili. The purpose of the application is to offer an effective communication strategy between security bodies and emergencies and people with ASD. The methodology of research based on design (DBR, Design Based Research) has guided the research process in which families with children and / or other family members diagnosed with ASD have been implicated, in addition to other professionals and experts. The techniques and data collection tools used are questionnaires and interviews, with its application information has been obtained on the pedagogical content of the mobile application. The results obtained detail information in relation to the structure, content and user interface of the App; the location and support for the identification code of people with ASD; and finally, the design of messages through a pictographic system for communication. The development of a mobile application as a resource to facilitate the interaction between people with ASD and its context, based on the participation of different social agents, is an initiative that improves the quality of life of this group.
