Abstract:
The training requirements for Environmental Education teachers are recognised, but the precise details for their professional development have yet to be defined. In this study, an action-research is carried out to gather the needs expressed by teachers of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. It also presents a book created based on these initial results. Its chapters present socio-environmental themes to work on in the classroom, all of them contextualised in Urban Biodiversity, that turns out to be an ideal teaching resource for the development of attitudes of conservation of the immediate environment.
