Although the informants of anthropologists and other researchers in the social sciences are mostly reduced to anonymity or turned into numbers, we should not forget that they are key to our reflections. Lluís Mallart reminds us in this book that all of them have a name and face and, through their gestures and words, they shed a little more light on our investigations and instil us with an immense sadness when we realise that they are often forgotten...
