Resumen: This dataset was created for the purpose of analyzing data that was published in the article titled "Intestinal Morphometric Changes Induced by a Western-Style Diet in Wistar Rats and GSPE Counter-Regulatory Effect". The aim for this dataset was to investigate the effect of cafeteria diet and GSPE treatment on the morphology and cell composition of the small and large intestine. It contains the morphometric parameters, which are measurements of lengths of small and large intestine, as well as the measurements of villus, crypt, and epithelium parameters. Additionally, the inflammatory indexes have also been observed and are presented in the dataset. The dataset covers the information obtained from an experiment using animal model, conducted in the year 2019. (2019-12-31)
