Abstract:
DISSENY D’UN SISTEMA DE GENERACIÓ DE VAPOR – 112071 - ABSTRACT The main objective of the project is designing a system of high pressure steam generation which, with the compliment of present legislation of atmosphere emissions, produces the requirements of it for the good performance of the PDH plant. At first of all, It has been studied the quantity and quality of a waste stream called Off-Gas. This study is based on the possibility of using this stream as a combustible in the boilers of the steam generation system. One part of this study has been carried out in the lab of the plant, In order to know the Off-Gas composition. Furthermore, with the composition known, it is possible to determine whether the quantity and quality of the stream are the adequate to the steam boilers or the system needs a secondary combustible. The sizing of the twin boilers of the steam generator system is based on material and energy balances, where it is included all kind of physical and thermodynamic information. In this part of the project there is, as well, some information about the mechanic sizing of the system. The project includes a fluid-mechanical study of all the installation pipes and their selection with the available industrial catalogs. It adds the design and sizing of all auxiliary equipment the system needs. The economic viability of the project has been also studied, due to its importance. The project includes the operating manual and a study of the risks and hazards of the steam boilers and the actuation against them. At last, the project is ended with an environmental study of the emission to atmosphere produced by the new installation.
