    Abstract:
    This project involves the design and subsequent construction of a low-cost tuner for bass. The tuner detects string bass being played and notifies the user through an LCD screen, the frequency at which the rope swings and the frequency it should swing. A series of LEDs indicate if the frequency is right, if wrong by excess or defect. All this is managed by a PIC microcontroller 18f2520 low cost
