Resum: The main objective in the current work is to study the variation of the intraepithelial lymphocytes percentage between celiac and healthy patients. The flow cytometry has been used as a cell counting method. The most important results are that the IEL percentage is an appropriate validation method of flow cytometry in possible celiac patients and this can also be used as a biomarker parameter to diagnose celiac disease. The potential application of the IEL as a marker makes it a promising candidate in celiac disease diagnosis in the near future. L'objectiu principal del treball actual és estudiar la variació de la Percentatge de limfòcits intraepitelials entre pacients celíacs i sans. La citometria de flux s'ha utilitzat com a mètode de recompte de cèl·lules. Els resultats més importants són que el percentatge IEL és adequat mètode de validació de citometria de flux en possibles pacients celíacs i aquest també es pot utilitzar com a paràmetre biomarcador per diagnosticar la malaltia celíaca. La potencial aplicació de l'IEL com a marcador fa que sigui prometedor candidat en el diagnòstic de la malaltia celíaca en un futur proper.
