Resum: The beginning of reading and writing in children between 3 and 6 years old with Down syndrome is a topic related to inclusive education. The investigation raises the question about how during the term this beginning of reading and writing with children and children who present the genetic alteration is due to the relationship that provides with expressive language. The theoretical development of research based on the knowledge of the essential abilities is, that is, the teaching and learning of reading and writing for these infants, for the presentation of the different methodologies that can be used, their benefits and characteristics. of the anomaly. The methodology used is a qualitative study. Three interviews have been carried out with different specialists, a series of activities have been carried out with children in the classroom, along with their respective evaluations and external observations during the seventh school day. From here, specify the directions or otherwise specify the strategies and learning objectives to be achieved. As the results of the project consider differences between them according to the areas involved, in all cases, the methodological line of the center is compatible with the indications of the foundation specialized in Down syndrome to guarantee maximum cognitive development. L’inici de la lectoescriptura en infants d’entre 3 i 6 anys amb síndrome de Down és un tema referent a l’educació inclusiva. La investigació planteja la qüestió sobre com dur a terme aquest començament de la lectura i l’escriptura amb nens i nenes que presenten l’alteració genètica donant pas a la relació que brinda amb el llenguatge expressiu. El desenvolupament teòric de la recerca vetlla pel coneixement de les dues habilitats essencials, és a dir, l’ensenyança-aprenentatge de la lectoescriptura amb aquests infants, per l’exposició de les diferents metodologies que es poden emprar, els seus beneficis i les característiques de l’anomalia. La metodologia usada tracta d’un estudi qualitatiu. S’han realitzat tres entrevistes a diferents especialistes, s’ha executat un seguit d’activitats a l’infant de l’aula, a banda de les respectives avaluacions i observacions extretes durant la seva jornada escolar. A partir d’aquí, s’especifiquen les direccions o dit d’una altra manera les estratègies i els objectius d’aprenentatge a assolir. Com a resultats del projecte es consideren diferències entre ells segons les àrees implicades, tot i això, la línia metodològica del centre es compagina amb les indicacions de la fundació especialitzada en síndrome de Down per garantir el màxim desenvolupament cognitiu. Després d’obtenir les respostes de les observacions i anotacions esmentades, es conclou que l’ensenyança de la lectoescriptura a partir d’exercicis previs mitjançant el mètode perceptiu-discriminatiu, el funcionament sistemàtic resulta ser un benefici exitós per fomentar les habilitats lectores, escriptores i expressives i, a la vegada potenciar l’autonomia.
