Resum: The main objective of this Final Degree Project (TFG) is to investigate whether Dora the Explorer is a good educational cartoon for teaching English. This project will help teachers when teaching a new language to their students. A theoretical analysis will be carried out in order to have all the notable references about this field. For the study of the chosen cartoon, part of this theory will be used, adding the CEFR information. The main conclusions are that Dora the Explorer is a cartoon that contains the necessary bases for learning basic English. L'objectiu principal d'aquest Treball de Fi de Grau (TFG) és investigar si Dora the Explorer és un bon dibuix animat educatiu per ensenyar anglès. Aquest projecte ajudarà els professors a l'hora d'ensenyar un nou idioma als seus alumnes. Es realitzarà una anàlisi teòrica per tal de tenir totes les referències notables sobre aquest camp. Per a l'estudi del dibuix animat escollit s'utilitzarà part d'aquesta teoria, afegint la informació del MECR. Les principals conclusions són que Dora the Explorer és un dibuix animat que conté les bases necessàries per a l'aprenentatge de l'anglès bàsic.
