Abstract:
In this work we have studied the most important aspects of shared custody. First, we made a comparison between the Spanish legislation and the Catalan legislation, then we have entered in the characterization of this figure by analyzing all the relevant aspects concerning him: from the concept, its characteristics, the criteria used by the courts to establish this regime, the modalities, time-sharing and the allocation of the use of the home, among many others. All this taking into account the principle of favor filii, principle par excellence of legislation in Family Law.In this work we have studied the most important aspects of shared custody.
