    Abstract:
The aim of this work is to analyze the relationship of specific psychosomatic factors with the development of determined pathologyc manifestations. To specify, it will focus on three of the highest psychosomatic pathologies relationship according to the literature, to consider fibromyalgia and gastrointestinal and dermatological pathologies. All of that to specify in the inequality of incidence and prevalence of psychosomatic pathologies in due to gender. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, a bibliographic review of documents, books and journal articles is accomplished, whose publication dates are published between 2006 and the current date, an exception of a minimum sources. Numerous studies establish the relationship between stressfull life situations and determined pathologies, which suggest the development of organic manifestations because of psychosomatic origin. In the same way, the importance of socio-cultural factors as determinants in the health-disease process is emphasized. Anyway, almost all of the articles reflect the gender inequality that hurts women in the development of discomfort derived from psychosomatization. This differential phenomenon appears in most studies with more or less importance, but it is a fact to take into account, considering the pressures and pre-established dogmas to which women are subjected in today's society. In view of this, it is necessary to emphasize the importance of holistic healthcare and a biopsychosocial and gender approach.
