Abstract: Introducció: Actualment la Malaltia Pulmonar Obstructiva Crònica (MPOC) és una de les principals patologies de l’aparell respiratori en l’edat adulta i una de les principals causes de comorbiditat en la població. El principal factor de risc és el fum del tabac. L’educació sanitària és molt important tractant-se d’una malaltia que es pot prevenir. Els professionals d’infermeria s’encarreguen de dur a terme l’educació sanitària als Centres d’Atenció Primària (CAP). Objectius: L’objectiu principal és l’elaboració d’un programa d’educació sanitària sobre la MPOC a la població del Montsià per poder donar informació sobre la malaltia i les seves complicacions, explicar la importància de la deshabituació al consum de tabac, dotar d’eines d’autocura per una millora de les complicacions de la malaltia i informar sobre els recursos sanitaris disponibles en l’àmbit territorial. Metodologia: Aquest treball presenta el disseny d’un programa d’educació sanitària sobre l’MPOC dirigit a la població del Montsià, que es duria a terme per part dels professionals d’infermeria d’Atenció Primària. En aquest programa s’han inclòs pacients d’ambdós sexes, >40 i <60 anys, fumadors, que presentin MPOC, amb vehicle propi, telèfon mòbil i s’han descartat pacients amb deteriorament cognitiu, ingressats, dificultats de comunicació i/o barreres idiomàtiques, esperança de vida inferior a 6 mesos i negativa al seguiment. El programa desenvolupa 7 activitats per dur a terme els objectius: enquesta inicial, col·locació de pòsters, xerrada sobre la MPOC, xerrada pacients experts, xerrada bon ús dels inhaladors, xerrada sobre signes d’alarma i recursos sanitaris i, per acabar, enquesta final. Conclusions: Després de la revisió bibliogràfica realitzada observem que no hi ha gaires programes d’educació sanitària sobre la MPOC i crec que aquest projecte pot millorar els resultats dels pacients que presenten aquesta malaltia. Introduction: Actually, the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is one of the main pathologies of the respiratory system in adulthood and one of the main causes of comorbidity in the population. The main risk factor is tobacco. Health education is very important, since it a disease that can be prevented. Nursing professionals are in charge of carrying out health education in primary care centers. Objectives: The main objective is the development of a health education program on COPD in the population of Montsià in order to provide information on the illness and its complications, explain the importance of smoking cessation, self-care tools for improving the complications of the disease and informing about the available health resources in the territorial area. Methodology: This project presents the design of a health education program on COPD aimed at the population of Montsià region, which would be carried out by primary health nursing professionals. In this program, have been included patients of both sexes, > 40 and < 60 years, smokers and have COPD, with their own vehicle and their own cell phone and have been excluded patients with cognitive deterioration, difficulties of communication or language barriers, life expectancy of less than 6 months and patients who refuse to follow up. The program develops 7 activities to accomplish the objectives: initial quiz, poster placement, COPD explication, expert patient talk, the good use of inhalers, alarm signs and health resources explication, and a final quiz. Conclusions: After reviewing the bibliography, we observed that there were no health education programs on the COPD and I think that this project could improve the outcome of the patients who have the disease.
