Abstract:
In this work an event is created in the Mines de Plom de Bellmunt del Priorat. This village is placed in the region of Priorat, which recently has begun getting in the tourist sector. The Mines de Plom de Bellmunt del Priorat is one of the most important tourist resources of the region, it was the most important mine of Catalonia due to extractive yield and the quality of its mineral. In the year 2002 the town hall adapted the space in order to be able to realize visits. The idea of creating an event arose from detecting two lacks. On the one hand the tourist resource of Bellmunt del Priorat, which receives very few visitors throughout the year and where cultural activities are not realized, only the visit guided walk around the mines. On the other hand, the cultural guide of the Priorat offers fewer activities throughout the year, and those that it offers are very different to the one that is proposed in this work. Therefore, an event of cultural character has been created where workshops of mineralogy and geology will be realized and, simultaneously there is a proposal of proper activities of leisure of the region of the Priorat related to the landscapes, the wine and the oil. The aim of the work and, therefore, of the event, is announcing the tourist resource of the village of Bellmunt del Priorat, the mines. Another goal is to be able to obtain through this way, more visitors throughout the year.
