    Abstract:
    Cruise tourism in recent years has become the star of the tourism sector in the world, as it shows an activity in continuous growth and offers the customer a varied and wide offer satisfying thus their tastes and needs. Spain is the second most important European market as a recipient of cruises. The present project explains the cruise tourism in the area of the Spanish Mediterranean. The work is based on four of the most important ports of the Spanish Mediterranean: Barcelona, Valencia, Balearic Islands and Malaga. It analyzes the supply, demand and the economic situation of each one of them. It discloses the profile of the client, the companies that offer the product and the income generated by this activity along with the costs.
