    Abstract:
Introduction: When depression is stuck in a person, it affects their productivity and their ability to work. This is a matter of fact with a major importance when these people who are depressed are healthcare professionals. The main objective of this study was to identify the risk factors that may influence having a risk of depression in a group of nurses by analysing their discourses and relating them to their positive mental health status. Method: Mixed study based on a theory based with quantitative scales in a complementary way. Two women and a man (nurses) took part in the study, who underwent a depression screening (Goldberg scale), an in-depth interview, and assessed their positive mental health through the Positive Mental Health Questionnaire (PMHQ). Results: The subject of emergencies and psychiatry showed a risk of positive depression while the operating theatre subject was negative. This helped us to compare results. Conclusions: It was obtained twelve risk factors that can influence the onset of depression among nurses.
