Design of a mooc for the improvement of the digital competence of the educators in active and in formation.

    Abstract:
    The technologies of the information and the communication (TIC) are increasing in all the fields of life and also in the schools. Therefore, it is considered that the teachers and the other education professionals must have a digital competence and own several strategies of teaching-learning process that allow them to realize an integration of the TIC with all his potential. The present research using the methodology Design-Based Research, has realized the design and development of two prototypes of Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) to work on the digital competence of education professionals in active and in formation. (1) The first prototype in «paper» format which is used to observe the relevance of the content and, (2) the second prototype in digital format which is used to observe aspects related with the usability and practice aspects of the MOOC. These prototypes have been evaluated through questionnaires and interviews that provided types of results both quantitative and qualitative ones. Some remarkable ideas are that the course is well structured and the users can find varied resources in there. From the realization of these two prototypes, it has been extracted a list of design principles and, following with the methodology, the next step is to realize the third iteration to observe the effectiveness of the course.
