Financial Education: Dissemination and Integration

Abstract:
The aim of this assignment is to expose the diffusive progression that has been carried out in the field of financial education as well as to analyze the initiatives whose intention is to bring this matter closer to the educational centers. The objective of this study is not analyzing the complete content of this material but investigating the scope that it may have. The aim is also analyzing the possibilities of involvement on the promulgation made as well as observing the reception that such delegation has had in the educational centers from the municipality of Tarragona. The assignment is structured in three blocks, the first one reflects the chronological process of how financial complexity has treated investment consumers through the financial reforms carried out. This block is also about how this situation has originated an educational need related to this matter, which urges to make people aware of the importance of learning about it, if possible, during school training. In the second block some initiatives carried out in Spain are detailed, in deference to the creation of contents on financial didactic for school programs and to its practical application in the centers through the collaboration of the professional sector. Finally, in the third block, it is developed an observational study, through surveys, on the reception that this competence has had in the educational centers of the territory of Tarragona.
