Abstract:
Being carrier of a stoma, forces to the affected person to readapt his physic perception, social life and laboral to his new condition. For doing all this changes, help and support is needed, as well from the family or the professionals. For answering to the set of needs of stomized patient’s, born in 1985, in Spain, the specialization of nursing in stomaterapia. The objective of the present studying is describing the influence of the welfare work of the stomatherapist in the quality of life from the stomized patient’s in an holistic way, through the bibliographic search by different databases, centring the attention in all those articles that make references to the functions and attention borrowed by the nursing professionals specialized in stomas.
