    Abstract:
This study aims to determine the impact of the infectious disease popularly known as Coronavirus within the tourism industry between its two epicentres, chronologically being China and Europe. Numerous investigations regarding this subject highlight the profound effect of this event on the sector. The transmission speed of Coronavirus has quickly denied daily habits for much of the population from these regions, with measures to stop its expansion such as border closures and/or total confinement, among others, which has shrunk its economies, with tourism being a prominent sector that has suffered such consequences that had never been seen before.
