    Abstract:
This work seeks to determine a method for the extraction of LMWM from human feces, optimize it for maximum performance, and automate it for industrial use. First, a bibliographic search of different methods was performed, leading to the pre-selection of two of them, one based on methanol:water and another on PBS. Subsequently, a series of tests were performed to determine which of these offered the best result, based on analysis with H-NMR, and the results obtained with the help of TopSpin software were evaluated. The PBS method was selected, as it was faster and offer better results, and was optimized in proportions and refinements to select an amount of 0.7 mL of PBS and two freeze-thaw cycles.
