    Abstract:
    It proposes that there is an uneven argument between Social Education and Social Work, because there are singular characteristics that differentiate between them. We observe two important elements of disagreement between the discussion. Firstly the genesis, the principal purpose, the history in the time due to it emerges like social action with several functions in a different historic moment, where the society had social necessities to coat for the warlike situation they had. The other, the academization, the university recognition, the junctures of the universities are distinct in the time. The processes of insertion at the academy have been several and segregated. However, there are links of union in the labour exercise and the social act that take both professions. They are the same professionals who look that the social educators and social workers are everything that complements the daily practice
