    Abstract:
This Final Project consists of the design of circuits that allow the study of the behaviour of a 3-phase induction motor using the PSIM software. In order to run the circuits has made a preliminary study of general concepts, and the induction motor has chosen with the mathematical model defined. Then the engine has been parameterized from the document "Operating points estimation of three-phase induction machines using a torque-speed tracking technique" and the manufacturer's data provided by the project manager. Once the engine has been parameterized, the different operating systems of the engine have been designed with different sources of tension that drives in three types of mechanical loads. Finally, the simulations of systems have been run in order to collect the variables of interest through the charts resulting from starting the engine. In addition, the results of data have been compared to analyze which system has a better response. Study Program: Electrical Engineering Degree Defense Date: April – 2015
