Electrical installation of a house through a direct and an alternating current hybrid system

    Abstract:
    This final degree project aims to study, calculate, design and define the characteristics of a wind-solar photovoltaic hybrid system isolated from electricity grid in a house where two current buses have been employed: a direct current bus and an alternating current bus, since the needs facilitate this configuration. First, there has been a study of the energy needs from the house depending on the type of current that would be used. Also we have studied the area where the atmospheric conditions required were the most appropriate to achieve maximum performance and efficiency in an hybrid installation. Then, we have selected the best electric and electronic equipment of the market and we have made the electrical connections with all the protections and switchgear necessary for the proper operation of the electrical distribution system. It has also discussed the future of the facility, future needs and the electronic equipments which, in a short time, we are going to have in the market and that will make this instalation more efficient, profitable and viable.
