    Abstract:
Polyol polyethers, also called polyols, are one of the main raw materials to produce polyurethane, which are versatile and safe materials with a wide range of applications that help make our lives more practical and comfortable. IQOXE produces these polyols, which need to meet certain quality specifications, one of the most critical being the amount of water they contain. A quantification of water in Alcupol polyols by NIR spectrometry and the building of a chemometric PLS model for the prediction of water contents in these polyol samples is proposed in this bachelor’s thesis.
