    Abstract:
This essay focuses on the methodology of English language teaching related to the students' learning styles. The main question is what types of activities are included in students' books according to the specific period of time they were published, and relate these activities with learning styles. To carry out this study, I analysed six different books. I analysed the activities of two chapters of each book and classified them by type. After this analysis, one may conclude that schoolbooks have changed during the past 25 years; nowadays, they cover all students' necessities, including activities that relate to several learning styles.
