    Identifier:  TFG:4464
    Authors:  Portillo Carrasquer, Marta
    Abstract:
The aim of this study is to analyse the role of SFRP5 in women with morbid obesity and NAFLD. We found that irculating SFRP5 levels increase after a caloric restriction in subjects with MO regardless of NAFLD. Moreover, hepatic SFRP5 seems to have a protective role in the first steps of NAFLD, but in an advanced stage of the disease, SFRP5 is deregulated while JNK and WNT5A are activated.
