    Abstract:
This project deals with the design of a set of conveyors for the transports of tin bodies during their production process. Specifically, it focuses on the conveyors that transport the cylindrical bodies diameter 285 mm from the oven outlet to the inlet of the former. The design has been carried out based on the conditions established by the developer. Therefore, the design of three conveyors has been determined once the production process and the design alternatives have been studied. On the one hand, a turning system, formed by two conveyors, take charge of turning the bodies at the exit of the oven. On the other hand, a chain conveyor which takes the bodies to the former To carry out the design, the following have been considered: the characteristics of the materials used, the manufacturing and assembly processes, the optimization of the selection of components and safety at work. Also, static studies, fatigue analysis, stress and power calculation, and aspects such as the electrical and pneumatic installation of the components have been carried out. Finally, the production costs have been studied considering the different stages of manufacture, assembly and packaging, and the temporary scheduling of the project has been performed.
